West Solent Boat Builders can deal with most yachtsmen's needs at Keyhaven. We are a small family-run boatyard which has been in operation now for 36 years. We are pleased to welcome visiting yachtsmen to Keyhaven where we make every effort to cater for their requirements.

This is a versatile yard capable of dealing with almost any problem, provided that the boat is of a size that can be handled with our present equipment. There is both a mobile crane and a slip for removing boats from the water. We take boats up to 40 ft and up to 11 tonnes for lifting with the crane. The optimum draft is around 1.8 metres. The slip will take up to 20 tonnes and 45 ft. Maximum draft on the slip - depending on the style of keel - is 1.6 metres. Please contact us for further information.

We have a resident rigger and a marine engineer and are able to offer welding, high-pressure washing, surveying and brokerage, marine consultancy and valuations. We can offer winter lay-up and storage plus summer storage for dinghies and RIBS.

Finally, we have a thriving - though small - chandlery and are prepared to try to source many dificult-to-find items! Come and see us and have a chat about your requirements - you are assured of a warm welcome. Most of our staff are keen sailors and local yacht-club members.
